Permits have been filed to build a 34-story 575-unit residential building on two contiguous lots at 2nd Street and 54th Avenue, in Hunter's Point, Queens. The proposed 400-foot-tall building will have 71,291 square feet of residential space and 400 square feet of commerical space. The permit was filed on Dec 14, 2020 specifying a masonry-based building with 50 square feet of front yard and 930 square feet of back yard space.
Bud South LLC filed the permit through their representative Robert Laudenschlager of Sage And Coombe Architects.
The existing building is a Low-rise built in 1940 with 1 floor and 183,797 square feet of space.
