Stuyvesant Town, nicknamed Stuy Town, is a village of red brick apartment buildings running six blocks north from 14th Street to 20th Street, and from First Avenue to Avenue C east to west. Visitors are rare as Lower East Side attractions are outside, (and very nearby), and the neighborhood mostly functions as an untouched residential community packed with walkways and miniature parks for neighbors to share.
