Permits have been filed to build a seven-story ten-unit building at 196 East 7th, in East Village, Manhattan. The proposed 74-foot-tall building will have 5,989 square feet of residential space and 18,831 square feet of commerical space. The permit was filed on Nov 28, 2025 with 9.92 square feet of front yard and 30 square feet of back yard space.
The owner filed the permit through their representative Andrew Goodrich of Prime Zone Building Consulting.
The existing building is a Low-rise built in 1899 with 2 floors and 5,989 square feet of space.
