Permits have been filed to build a eight-story 157-unit residential building at 401 Chester Street, in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The proposed 87-foot-tall building will have 11,969 square feet of residential space and 3,745 square feet of commerical space. The permit was filed on Dec 20, 2019 specifying a masonry-based building.
Marcus Garvey Preservation LLC filed the permit through their representative Saky Yakas of A&t Engineering PC.
The existing building is a Low-rise built in 1920 with 4 floors and 12,620 square feet of space.
